Place S.E. in South Indian <br />River County, I feel compelled to object to this <br />request for the following reason. <br />This area is located in the middle of an "S" <br />curve on U.S. #1 and just north of the SEC & Old Dixie <br />Highway overpass. This is a dangerous section of <br />highway with itspresent traffic load. The entrance <br />to Vero Shores is located on the west side of U.S.#1 <br />in the middle of this 1IS" curve. The compounding of <br />this dangerous situation by allowing additional cross <br />traffic on U.S,#1 from the egress of vehicles to the <br />east with the view obstruction caused by the overpass <br />could only result in needless property damage, personal <br />injury and even loss of life from traffic accidents. <br />This area has no traffic control -system and would <br />take extensive engineering and construction to provide <br />for a safe flow of traffic. <br />I feel it would not be in the best.interest for <br />the safety of the motoring public in Indian River <br />County to approve this zoning request. <br />rt <br />t <br />A.
