<br />Joseph Paladin <br /> advised that he just formed a new committee to address <br />affordable housing. <br />Discussion continued and Commissioners Wheeler and Bowden both felt this <br />discussion should be held at a public hearing. <br />th <br />Lee Bernstein <br />, property owner on 66 Street, said he does not have a problem <br />with the 25’ buffers, but he found that he could not subdivide his property with the ordinance <br />as it is written. <br />Discussion ensued regarding options for developing Mr. Bernstein’s property. <br />Mr. Christian <br /> said nothing should be done without a public hearing. He <br />suggested the option of a variance rather than tossing out the ordinance. <br /> <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />Motion CARRIED, by a 4-1 vote, Vice Chairman <br />Neuberger opposed.
