8.N. EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) <br />PROGRAM - AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 - <br />GRANT DISTRIBUTION <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED <br />by Vice Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously <br />approved the recommendations submitted by the local <br />units of government: Indian River County Sheriff's <br />Office, City of Vero Beach Police Department, City of <br />Sebastian Police Department, City of Fellsmere Police <br />Department, and the Town of Indian River Shores Public <br />Safety Department; and authorized the Chairman to sign <br />the grant application for the Indian River County Sheriff's <br />Office and the letter approving distribution of the funds to <br />the local units of government for submittal to the state <br />prior to the deadline of Friday, June 19, 2009, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of June 3, 2009. <br />COPY OF GRANT APPLICATION ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />8.0. FINAL PAYMENT AND RETAINAGE RELEASE WORK ORDER #11, APPLIED <br />TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT INC. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED <br />by Vice Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously <br />approved the final payment and release of retainage for <br />Work Order No. 11. The post -construction physical and <br />biological monitoring contained in Work Order No. 11 is <br />eligible for 46.65% cost sharing with the Florida <br />Department of Environmental Protection under Grant <br />11 <br />June 9, 2009 <br />
