"TOMMY" THOMAS, INTERGOVERNMENTAL <br />COORDINATOR, WHO WAS ON VACATION. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER. <br />ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR NELSON LED THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />TO THE FLAG, AND REVEREND JAMES P. MCCLAIN, PASTOR, TREASURE COAST <br />CATHEDRAL ASSEMBLIES OF GOD CHURCH GAVE THE INVOCATION. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT INTRODUCED PAUL PALMIOTTO, THE NEW COUNTY <br />URBAN FORESTER. <br />MR. PALMIOTTO INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE RECEIVED HIS <br />EDUCATION IN SYRACUSE, NEW YORK, AND HAD WORKED AS A FORESTER IN <br />FT. MYERS, FLORIDA BEFORE ACCEPTING THIS POSITION. <br />COMMISSIONER LOY REQUESTED.ADDING AN EMERGENCY ITEM IN <br />THE CLERK'S AGENDA REGARDING THE SPOUSE ABUSE PROGRAM. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />DEESON, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED ADDING AN EMERGENCY ITEM IN <br />THE CLERKS AGENDA REGARDING THE SPOUSE ABUSE PROGRAM. <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED IF THERE WERE ANY ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS <br />TO THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF FEBRUARY 20, 1980. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS SUGGESTED THAT ON PAGE 21, LINE 16, AFTER <br />THE WORD "COVERED," THE PHRASE "NOT ONLY NOW BUT ALSO IN THE FUTURE," <br />BE ADDED. ON PAGE 611 LINE 30, AFTER THE WORD "CALLED," THE WORDS <br />ROVER THIRTY" BE ADDED. <br />COMMISSIONER LOY SUGGESTED THAT ON PAGE 44, LINE 19, THE <br />NAME "HUDNELL" BE CHANGED TO "HIGHTOWER."
