THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. IT WAS VOTED ON <br />AND CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br />ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS EXPLAINED TO DR. FENNER ABOUT THE <br />PROCESS FOR REMOVAL OF THE STRUCTURES AND PLACING OF A LIEN. THE <br />ADMINISTRATOR ASKED IF IT IS THE INTENT, IF THE POOL IS REMOVED, <br />THAT IT SHOULD BE FILLED IN, AND CHAIRMAN SIEBERT FELT THAT YOU <br />CANNOT LEAVE A HOLE THERE, <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR STATED HE WILL NOTIFY DR: FENNER, WHO <br />HAS NO TELEPHONE, BEFORE THE COUNTY COMMENCES REMOVAL OF THE STRUCTURES. <br />DR. FENNER ASKED IF THERE IS ANY APPEAL FROM THIS DECISION, <br />AND THE BOARD INFORMED HIM THAT HE CAN APPEAL TO THE COURTS. <br />BUILDING DIRECTOR RYMER STATED THAT NO ONE WAS PRESENT TO <br />REPRESENT FANNIE RUTH WADE STINSON, ITEM 61 AND INFORMED THE BOARD <br />THAT NOTIFICATION HAS BEEN SENT AND RECEIPT ACKNOWLEDGED. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />VIODTKE, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY DETERMINED THAT THE IMPROVEMENTS <br />LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY OWNED BY FANNIE RUTH WADE STINSON (29-31-39- <br />00000-5000-0008,0) LOT 8 - 209 FT. X 209 FT. IN NW COR. OF N 1/2 OF <br />NW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of SCJ 1/4 LESS BROCK & 560 FT. OF N 120 FT. OF W <br />125 FT. LESS l; 25 FT. FOR RD. R/W, ARE HEREBY DECLARED TO BE HAZARDOUS <br />AND ARE PRESENTING A SAFETY AND HEALTH THREAT TO THE CITIZENS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND MOVED THAT THE HAZARDOUS STRUCTURE BE DECLARED <br />A NUISANCE AND BE REMOVED AT THE DIRECTION OF THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />AND THE APPROPRIATE LIEN FILED AGAINST THE PROPERTY IN THE EVENT THE <br />COSTS OF REMOVAL ARE NOT PAID BY THE OWNER. <br />BUILDING DIRECTOR RYMER REPORTED THAT ANGELO GARETTO, ITEM <br />7, HAS CALLED SEVERAL TIMES FROM ILLINOIS. HE APPARENTLY HAD SOME <br />AGREEMENT ABOUT WITHHOLDING MONTHLY RENTAL TO BRING THE HOUSE UP TO <br />CODE, AND HE WILL BE DOWN BY MARCH 11TH, BUT HAD A DEATH IN THE <br />FAMILY AND COULD NOT BE PRESENT TODAY. SHE REQUESTED THAT THIS ITEM <br />BE DELAYED TO GIVE HER TIME TO WORK WITH THE OWNER. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS REQUESTED THAT MRS.
