A. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1. TREASURE COAST COMMUNITY HEALTH'S <br />REQUEST TO REZONE ±1.43 ACRES FROM CH TO CG <br />(QUASI-JUDICIAL) <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />Community Development Director Bob Keating, through a PowerPoint <br />presentation, recapped his memorandum of June 19, 2007, and provided detailed data on this <br />request to secure the necessary zoning to develop the subject property with a community health <br />clinic, changing from one commercial district to another. The Planning and Zoning Commission <br />has recommended approval and County staff also recommends approval of the request to rezone <br />the subject property, located south of 9th Street SW, and approximately 850 feet west of 12th <br />Avenue, SW, from CH to CG. Staff feels the proposed rezoning is compatible with the uses in the <br />area, it is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan, it meets the concurrency tests, and has no <br />environmental impacts. <br />Commissioner O'Bryan questioned the CG zoning that has a different trip indicator, <br />and wondered if they would have sufficient trips with the widening of Olso Road. Mr. Keating <br />confirmed they would have sufficient trips. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing. <br />Seeing no one, the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chair Bowden, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 2007-023 amending the Zoning Ordinance and <br />July 10, 2007 17 <br />
