C,DRU <br />ONDEMNATION EMOLITION AND EMOVAL OF NSAFE <br />S <br />TRUCTURES <br /> <br />thth <br />Johnnie Roy Chambliss <br />, 4265 26 Avenue, who owns the property at 4293 26 Avenue <br />asked the Board not to demolish his building, and to allow him time to bring the building into <br />compliance with the help of MBV Engineering Inc. <br /> <br />Freddie Woolfork <br /> spoke in support of Mr. Chambliss saying he would put Mr. Chambliss <br />in touch with Penny Chandler, Executive Director of the Indian River County Area Chamber of <br />Commerce, for financial assistance since the property is located in the “Enterprise Zone.” <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board by a 4-0 vote, <br />Commissioner Bowden absent, unanimously adopted <br />Resolution No. 2006-096 <br /> providing for the demolition of <br />unsafe structures and the recovery of costs.
