MAR 19 19 84 BOOK. 43 PAGE -90 <br />A G R E E M E N T <br />Agreement made this 6th day of February, 1980, by and between the <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, and the Fort Pierce <br />District, Troop "L", Florida Highway Patrol, <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS by resolution adopted at a regularly scheduled meeting of the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida on the above <br />date, said County Commission has approved a request by the Fort Pierce <br />District, Troop "L", Florida Highway Patrol for appropriation of THREE THOUSAND <br />INE HUNDRED EIGHTY DOLLARS ($3,980.00) in order to purchase four Model K-55 <br />ng radar units from MPH Industries, Inc.; and <br />WHEREAS The Florida Highway Patrol has agreed to limit the use of <br />said radar units to the seven Highway Patrol troopers currently assigned to <br />Indian River County, Florida; and <br />WHEREAS the Indian River County Commission intends to retain title <br />to said radar units; <br />NOW THEREFORE the parties agree as follows: <br />1. The above mentioned radar units shall be used by the seven <br />troopers of the Florida Highway Patrol regularly assigned to Indian River <br />unty, Florida. <br />2. Title of the equipment shall remain in the inventory of Indian <br />ver County, Florida. <br />3. The equipment shall be permanently loaned to the Florida Highway <br />atrol by Indian River County, Florida. <br />4. The State of Florida shall be responsible for all certification <br />said units necessary for an FCC license. <br />5. The State of Florida shall be responsible for all certification <br />ssary of said units to make said units admissible in a court of. law. <br />6. The State of Florida shall be the licensee for any necessary <br />licenses for said units. <br />Individual Operators <br />7.
