The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION. The Board <br />unanimously: (1) authorized staff to place the memorial <br />plaque for Robert Woyshner in Golden Sands Park; and <br />(2) approved for the County to pay the total expenditure of <br />the plaque and the base, for Mr. Woyshner's memorial. <br />8.N. ACCEPTANCE OF EMERGENCYMANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE GRANT <br />FUNDING AND APPROVAL OF EXPENDITURES <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously approved: <br />(1) the funding provided by the Emergency Management <br />Performance Grant (EMPG) and the expenditures to be <br />funded from the Emergency Management Performance <br />Grant, the Emergency Management Preparedness <br />Agreement, and the Hazardous Materials Grant; and (2) <br />authorized Emergency Services Director John King to <br />execute documents associated with the EMPG, and to <br />make adjustments to the appropriated grant dollars in the <br />categories of requested spending as needed, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of June 30, 2008. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />July 15, 2008 13 <br />
