Barton recalled the Board's approval, in July <br />2007, of a contract with Gabriel Roeder Smith & Company (GRS) to complete an actuarial study <br />for OPEB (Other Post -Employment Benefits), which is also known as Statement No. 45 of the <br />GASB (Government Accounting Standards Board), and which pertains to post -employment <br />benefit costs. Mr. Barton divulged that the Constitutional Officers, Clerk of the Court staff, and <br />County Budget Director, Jason Brown, had gathered the necessary information for the actuarial <br />study to be done. <br />July 15, 2008 19 <br />
