12. COUNTY ATTORNEY – RESOLUTION 2005-113 - <br />CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE VALUE <br />ADJUSTMENT BOARD MEMBERS AND REJECTING PER <br />DIEM COMPENSATION <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowden, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 2005-113 confirming the appointment of the <br />2005 Value Adjustment Board Members and rejecting <br />statutory per diem compensation. <br /> <br />13.C. COMMISSIONER SANDRA L. BOWDEN – NIGHT <br />MEETINGS <br /> <br />Commissioner Bowden stated that there have been several night meetings that <br />have been very long and she would like to move all the meetings to daytime hours. <br />Commissioner Bowden pointed out a conflict with the School Board by having night meetings. <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Commissioner Bowden to set a <br />public hearing to change the night meetings to daytime, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Davis for discussion. <br /> <br />Under discussion Commissioner Davis stated that it is the issue that draws the <br />people more so than the time of the meeting but he still is going to vote to leave it as is. <br /> <br />July 19, 2005 14 <br /> <br />
