BEINDORF CONTINUED TO DISCUSS VARIOUS ALTERNA- <br />TIVES, NOTING THAT THEY DO NOT WANT TO GET INTO THE CENTER OF SOME- <br />ONE I S <br />OMEONES PROPERTY AND ALSO WOULD PREFER NOT TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH A <br />NUMBER OF SMALL OWNERS. TO AVOID THE COMMERCIAL AREA, THEY WOULD <br />HAVE TO GO FURTHER AWAY FROM OSLO, HE EXPLAINED THAT IN ORDER TO <br />TAKE A PARCEL WITHOUT DOING AS MUCH DAMAGE AS YOU WOULD TO A SMALLER <br />LAND OWNER, IT ALL LEADS BACK TO THE ANSIN PROPERTY. MR. REINDORF <br />STATED THAT HE DID TALK TO MR. ANSIN ABOUT WELLS; HE WAS NOT OPPOSED <br />AND MIGHT EVEN DONATE SOME PROPERTY FOR THAT PURPOSE, BUT HE DID <br />NOT WANT TO SELL IT. ENGINEER BEINDORF SUGGESTED THAT THE BOARD <br />GET THE ATTORNEY TO MAKE A FIRM CONTACT WITH MR. ANSIN. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS ASKED IF THERE IS ANY WAY WE COULD OFFER <br />ARRANGMENTS THAT MIGHT FIT IN WITH MR. ANSIN FROM A TAX STANDPOINT.- <br />AND <br />TANDPOINT,AND THE ATTORNEY FELT THIS COULD BE DISCUSSED. <br />IT WAS NOTED THAT THE COUNTY OWNS 15 ACRES IN THIS AREA.- <br />BUT <br />REA, <br />BUT THIS IS TOO SMALL A SITE AND IT ALREADY HAS BEEN REQUESTED FOR <br />A SCHOOL SITE. <br />MR. ENG INFORMED THE BOARD THAT, AS A BARE MINIMUM, 17 <br />ACRES MIGHT ACCOMMODATE THE PLANT WITH SOME ROOM FOR ADDITIONAL <br />EXPANSION, BUT 15 ACRES WOULD NOT BE SUFFICIENT. <br />ENGINEER BEINDORF NOTED THAT THERE IS GOOD ACCESS TO THE <br />PROPERTY HE WAS DISCUSSING, AND THEY HAVE TRIED TO LOOK AT ALL THE <br />CONSIDERATIONS, FURTHER CONVERSATION ENSUED ON AVOIDING THE COMMERCIAL <br />AREAS. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS FELT STRONGLY THAT WE MUST GET ADEQUATE <br />PROPERTY BECAUSE THIS SHOULD BE A HEADQUARTERS FO.R PUBLIC WORKS, <br />POSSIBLY EVEN A FIRE STATION, AND WE WILL NEED TO EXPAND AS TIME <br />GOES ON. HE POINTED OUT THAT ACTUALLY 30 ACRES IS A VERY SMALL <br />PART OF THE WHOLE PROPERTY, AND SINCE THERE WILL BE A PROBLEM IN <br />OBTAINING IT, HE FELT WE SHOULD GET IT ALL OVER WITH AT ONCE. <br />MR. ENG POINTED OUT THAT THEY ARE NOT PLANNING ANY STRUCTURE <br />IN THE FIRST 200', AND YOU COULD PUT A FIRE STATION IN THE FRONT. <br />� 112 <br />
