ROYAL PROFESSIONAL BUILDERS' REQUEST TO REZONE 29.63 ACRES <br />FROM A-1 TO RS -3 QUASI -.JUDICIAL) <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />Community Development Director Robert Keating, through a PowerPoint <br />presentation, displayed a map of the subject area and provided detailed information on this item. <br />He stated that the rezoning from A-1 to RS -3 would allow the subject property to be developed <br />consistent with the single-family residential uses that are allowed in the L-1, Low Density, land <br />use category. He stated that Planning & Zoning (P&Z) and County staff recommended Board <br />approval of the rezoning. <br />Commissioner O'Bryan asked if road improvements would be made when the <br />property was developed. Director Keating declared that the developer would have to pave the road <br />to his entrance at the time of development. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing. <br />There were no additional speakers, and the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chair Bowden, SECONDED by <br />Chairman Wheeler, by a 4-0 vote (Commissioner Davis <br />absent), the Board unanimously adopted Ordinance No. <br />2007-025, amending the Zoning Ordinance and the <br />accompanying Zoning Map for more or less 29.63 acres <br />located South of 33`d Street and approximately 1650 feet <br />July 24, 2007 23 <br />
