11.1.4. AMENDMENT NO. 6 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WITH CARTER ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS, 66TH <br />AVENUE FROM 4TH STREET TO SR 60 - IRC PROJECT NO. 9810 <br />Public Works Director Jim Davis explained that this Amendment was to have Carter <br />Associates, Inc. add landscaping and irrigation design to five stormwater retention ponds along the <br />southern 66th Avenue project. He requested Board approval of the project. <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chair Bowden, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Flescher, by a 4-0 vote (Commissioner <br />Davis absent), the Board unanimously approved <br />Alternative No. 1, Amendment No. 6 to the Professional <br />Services Agreement for 66th Avenue Paving and Drainage <br />Improvements with Carter Associates, Inc. for $60,635.00, <br />as recommended in the memorandum of July 16, 2007. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />11.1.5. STORMWATER POND SITE AND RIGHT-OF-WAY ACQUISITION, 66TH <br />AVENUE, NORTH OF 45TH STREET, FUTURE 66TH AVENUE WIDENING <br />AND IMPROVEMENTS, RICHARD & MARYANNRENTSCHLER, OWNERS <br />Public Works Director Jim Davis explained that a stormwater pond is necessary for <br />this project to receive permitting from the Saint John's River Water Management District <br />(SJRWMD). The Rentschler's have agreed to sell to the County 2.27 acres for the stormwater <br />pond site. Director Davis presented staff's recommendation for Board approval of this <br />right-of-way purchase. <br />July 24, 2007 50 <br />
