Erik Olson, Utilities Director, stated that the County is in a position to purchase <br />major equipment directly for an estimated one-half million dollars savings. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by <br />Chairman Wheeler, by a 4-0 vote (Commissioner Davis <br />absent), the Board unanimously approved the direct <br />purchase of construction materials and equipment for the <br />West Regional Waste Treatment Facility expansion, and <br />authorized the Chairman to execute the First Amendment to <br />contract documents, as recommended in the memorandum <br />of June 16, 2007. <br />DOCUMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />11.J.5.
