Mrs. Clem gave an update on the Sequoia Voting System that is the only system that <br />has not been challenged because it operates properly. It has met all tests, is certified and she has <br />run eight elections in Indian River County and had no problem and emphasized there will be no <br />problem on this election; she is ready. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Neuberger, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lowther, the Board unanimously <br />approved an amendment to the Supervisor of Election’s <br />budget in the amount of $18,241.50 (transfer from revenue <br />to expense), as requested in the memorandum of June 17, <br />2004. <br /> <br />8.B. SHERIFF ROY RAYMOND – BUDGET AMENDMENT <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved an <br />amendment to the Sheriff’s budget in the amount of <br />$33,797 (transfer from auction revenue to operating <br />expense for $29,297 and capital outlay for $4,500), as <br />requested in the memorandum of June 18, 2004. <br /> <br />9.A.1.
