AUTHORIZATION TO PREPARE AND ADVERTISE REQUEST <br />FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) NOTICES FOR ARCHITECTURAL <br />SERVICES – EMERGENCY SERVICES STATIONS 3 (VERO BEACH <br />MUNICIPAL AIRPORT), 5 (GRAND HARBOR/GIFFORD AREA, EXACT <br />TH <br />LOCATION TO BE DETERMINED), 9 (SEBASTIAN), 12 (WEST OF 5 <br />RD <br />STREET SW AND 43 AVENUE ON COUNTY-OWNED PROPERTY), <br />AND 13 (NEAR THE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS, EXACT LOCATION TO <br />BE DETERMINED) <br /> <br /> In response to an inquiry, County Administrator Baird stated that it is planned that all <br />stations will have a standard interior layout, at least as much as possible when re-designing <br />already standing stations, but the exterior design will blend with the individual neighborhoods. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by Vice <br />Chairman Neuberger, the Board unanimously authorized the preparation <br />and the advertising of an RFQ for architectural and related services for <br />new buildings for Station 3 (Vero Beach Municipal Airport), Station 5 <br />(Grand Harbor/Gifford area, exact location to be determined), Station 9 <br />thrd <br />(Sebastian), Station 12 (West of 5 Street SW and 43 Avenue on <br />County-owned property), and Station 13 (near the County Fairgrounds, <br />exact location to be determined), as recommended in the memorandum <br />dated June 28, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />ALL BACKUP DOCUMENTATION IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD AND <br />IS HEREBY MADE A PART OF THESE MINUTES <br />July 6, 2004 <br />2 <br />E.S.D. <br /> <br /> <br />
