EMERGENCY SERVICES – THE PLACE AT VERO BEACH, <br />INC. - RENEWAL OF CLASS E-1 CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC <br />CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO PROVIDE <br />NON-EMERGENCY WHEELCHAIR SERVICES <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lowther, the Board unanimously (4-0 <br />Commissioner Ginn absent) approved renewal of the Class <br />E1 Certificate of Public Convenience and necessity for The <br />Place at Vero Beach, Inc., to be effective for a period of two <br />(2) years from August 10, 2004, to August 10, 2006, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of July 20, 2004. <br /> <br />A COPY OF THE CERTIFICATE IS ON FILE WITH THE BACKUP <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> <br />11.C.1. OLD DOUGLASS SCHOOL – FINAL PAYMENT TO HVAC, <br />INC. FOR AIR-CONDITIONER IN CAFETORIUM <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED BY Commissioner Lowther, to approve <br />staff’s recommendation. <br /> <br />Under discussion, Vice Chairman Neuberger questioned whether a problem with the <br />air-conditioning system had been corrected, and General Services Director Tom Frame was certain <br />whatever it was had been resolved.
