In response to Commissioner Macht, Commissioner Adams advised that Senator <br />Pruitt has attempted to assist but has not been successful in assisting us. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Commissioner Adams thought that environmental pressure (to have absolutely no <br />impact) has been a great influence in DEP’s unwillingness to accept our application on Sector 7. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lowther, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Chairman Ginn absent) adopted the recommendation of the <br />Beach and Shore Preservation Advisory Committee to <br />replace the current Sector 7 beach restoration design with <br />the alternative design, and approved Contract Amendment <br />#9 with Applied Technology and Management, Inc., as <br />recommended in the memorandum of June 23, 2004. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> <br />August 10, 2004 <br />31 <br /> <br />
