ORDINANCE 2005-026 - PUBLIC HEARING – ELIMINATING <br />THE REQUIREMENT TO HAVE ONE NIGHT TIME <br />COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING PER MONTH <br /> <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard <br />with regard to this matter. There being none, the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />Commissioner Davis felt that it is the issue that brings the crowd, not the time of <br />the meeting, and he is in favor of keeping one night meeting per month. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Neuberger, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowden, the Board adopted (by a vote <br />of 4-1 Commissioner Davis opposed) Ordinance 2005-026 <br />amending Code Section 102.01: Board of County <br />Commissioners meetings and procedures, eliminating the <br />requirement to have one night time meeting per month. <br /> <br />9.A.2.
