DONLON STATED THAT THE EMPLOYEE IS REVIEWED BY HIS <br />SUPERINTENDENT AND THEN IT IS PASSED ON TO THE ADMINISTRATOR. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT CONTINUED TO DISCUSS THE PROPOSED QUARTILE <br />SYSTEM, NOTING THAT AN EMPLOYEE WHO IS IN ONE QUARTILE IN A SMALL <br />GROUP CObLD BE IN A DIFFERENT QUARTILE WHEN THE GROUPS ARE CONSOLI- <br />DATED: SO, THERE WILL HAVE TO BE SOME JUDGMENTS INVOLVED. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT AGAIN EXPLAINED THAT THE BOARD IS RECOM- <br />MENDING THAT EVERYONE GET AN 8.5% COST OF LIVING INCREASE: I.E., A <br />PERSON GETTING $10,000 A YEAR AND WHO WAS IN THE TOP QUARTILE, WOULD <br />GET THE $10,000 PLUS 8.5% COST OF LIVING, PLUS 5% MERIT, OR 13.5%. <br />HE STATED THAT IF MR. DONLON WILL WRITE THIS OUT, HE WILL REVIEW IT <br />WITH HIM. <br />COMMISSIONER LOY DISCUSSED THE PROPOSED WORKSHOP MEETING <br />WITH THE ZONING BOARD ON THE EVENING OF MAY 15TH TO REVIEW THE COM- <br />PREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN AND STATED THAT SHE NOW HAS LEARNED THAT <br />NEITHER SHE NOR COMMISSIONER LYONS WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND, SHE <br />SUGGESTED THE MEETING BE SET FOR ANOTHER NIGHT. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS STATED THAT THEY SHOULD GO AHEAD WITH <br />THE MEETING WHETHER HE COULD BE THERE OR NOT BECAUSE HIS FEELING <br />WAS THAT AS LONG AS WE HAVE THE ENABLING ORDINANCES, THE PLAN WILL <br />WORK. <br />AFTER FURTHER DISCUSSION, IT WAS DECIDED TO ASK THE PLANNING <br />DIRECTOR TO CONTACT THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION TO SEE IF THE <br />WORKSHOP SESSION COULD BE CHANGED TO WEDNESDAY EVENING, MAY 14TH, <br />AT 7:30 P.M. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT STATED THAT HE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE <br />BOARD ADOPT A RESOLUTION HONORING THE PEOPLE WHO DONATED THEIR <br />SERVICES TO ASSIST THE LITTLE GIRL WHO WAS SO BADLY BURNED RECENTLY. <br />HE FELT THEY DESERVED RECOGNITION OF THEIR EXEMPLARY SERVICE TO <br />THE COMMUNITY. <br />72 <br />I <br />
