MAY <br />P R O C L A M A T I O N <br />WHEREAS, the growth and development of Florida <br />and Indian River County have depended and will depend <br />greatly on an efficient, comprehensive transportation <br />system; and <br />WHEREAS, our transportation system continues to <br />provide the avenues of communication and mass distribution <br />facilities so vital to the social and economic well-being <br />of the people of this county as well as the state and <br />the nation; and <br />WHEREAS, it is fitting we should recognize the <br />benefits the transportation system has provided - to the <br />development of our society and the progress of all citizens; <br />NOW THEREFORE, We, the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, do hereby proclaim the week of May <br />11 - 17, 1980, as <br />TRANSPORTATION WEEK <br />in recognition of the vital role of transportation in <br />our county, and in connection with the national observance <br />thereof, and urge all citizens to enjoy and participate in <br />its observance. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Willard�W.
