MAY 211980 Boo, 43 <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT DIRECTED THE ENGINEER TO GET PRICES AND <br />COSTS AND BRING THE INFORMATION BACK TO THE BOARD. <br />ENGINEER BEINDORF REPORTED ON MEETING WITH MR. ANSIN IN <br />REGARD TO OBTAINING A PORTION OF HIS ACREAGE AS A SITE FOR THE SOUTH <br />COUNTY WATER TREATMENT PLANT. HE INFORMED THE BOARD. THAT THEY DISCUSSED <br />ACREAGE RUNNING THROUGH FROM OSLO ROAD TO REBEL ROAD, AND MR. ANSIN <br />WONDERED WHY AN AREA OF THAT SIZE WAS NEEDED. IT WAS EXPLAINED TO <br />HIM THAT THERE WAS A POSSIBILITY OF LOCATING A FIRE STATION THERE <br />ALSO AND POSSIBLY HAVING OTHER MUNICIPAL USES, AND MR. ANSIN SEEMED <br />TO BE VERY RECEPTIVE TO THE WHOLE PROGRAM. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT FELT THAT MR. ANSIN STILL NEEDS A CONDEMNA- <br />TION OR A POSITIVE THREAT OF ONE, AND ATTORNEY COLLI'NS AGREED. HE <br />INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE HAD ASSURED MR, ANSIN THAT THE WEST BOUNDARY <br />LINE WOULD BE FENCED AND BUFFERED. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS REPORTED THAT HE AND THE ENGINEERS ARE <br />RECOMMENDING THE BOARD PURCHASE A SITE WHICH IS EXPANDED OVER TO <br />REBEL ROAD BECAUSE THEY FELT THE BENEFITS OF GOING FROM ROAD TO ROAD <br />WOULD BE WORTH THE EXTRA COST. HE STATED THAT THE PROPERTY WAS <br />APPRAISED BY MR. WILKES AT $5,000 AN ACRE, AND IT INCLUDES COMMERCIAL <br />PROPERTY ALONG OSLO ROAD, AS SET OUT IN THE LETTER FROM FLOYD WILKES <br />DATED MAY 6, 1980. COPY OF THE APPRAISAL IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK. <br />-74� <br />
