CHAIRMAN SIEBERT STATED THAT THE BOARD HAD NO OBJECTION. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT ASKED IF THE BOARD WISHED TO TAKE ANY <br />ACTION ON THE RECOMMENDATIONS MADE BY SOUTHERN-KELTON, AND COMMISSIONER <br />LYONS FELT THAT MIGHT BE PREMATURE. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT STATED THAT HE WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THEM <br />PROCEEDING WITH PREPARING SPECIFICATIONS FOR BIDDING, ETC., IN THE <br />EVENT WE HAVE TO PROCEED WITH OUR OWN DISTRICT, <br />MR. KELTON FELT THERE ARE SEVERAL THINGS THEY CAN KEEP <br />WORKING ON IN TERMS OF GATHERING INFORMATION, BUT THE ONE AREA WHERE HE <br />WOULD RECOMMEND THE BOARD TAKE SOME ACTION IS IN PREPARING AN ORDINANCE <br />CREATING A CONSOLIDATED DISTRICT. THIS WOULD HAVE TO BE ON THE BALLOT <br />FOR THE FIRST PRIMARY IN OCTOBER. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS FELT THAT WE NEED TO GET THAT POINT RESOLVED <br />WITH THE CITY FIRST. IT WAS NOTED THAT IT REQUIRES ABOUT 30 DAYS <br />LEAD TIME TO GET SOMETHING ON THE BALLOT. <br />MR. KELTON INQUIRED WHEN THE CITY'S DRAFT OF THE FINAL REPORT <br />COULD BE READY SO THEY COULD CRITIQUE IT. MR. MASON STATED THAT HE <br />WOULD TRY TO GET IT TO THEM A DAY OR TWO EARLY, IF POSSIBLE. <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE STATED THAT HE WOULD CONTACT CITY <br />MANAGER LITTLE AND OFFER TO MEET WITH HIM ALONG WITH MR. KELTON AND <br />GO OVER THE REPORT THAT WE HAVE JUST REVIEWED -1 <br />THE BOARD AGREED THAT WE MUST KEEP THIS MATTER MOVING AS <br />RAPIDLY AS POSSIBLE AND ENCOURAGE ESTABLISHING CONTACT BETWEEN SOUTHERN- <br />KELTON AND THE CITY. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT REITERATED THAT HE WANTED TO SEE CONSOLI- <br />DATED SERVICE FOR THE SOUTH COUNTY IF THERE IS ANY WAY POSSIBLE, AND <br />MR.
