E. <br />June 3, 1980 <br />Mr. Jack Jennings <br />County Administrator <br />Indian River County <br />Room 115 County Courthouse <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />Dear Mr. Jennings: <br />I <br />BOOK 4a ParE <br />3885 - 20TH STREET <br />POST OFFICE BOX 849 <br />VERO BEACH, FLORIDA 32960 <br />TELEPHONE 305/562-7981 <br />Re: Village Green Mobile Home Park <br />Phase II <br />This letter is to certify that Village Green Mobile Home Park, Phase II, has <br />been completed in accordance with the applicable Florida D.E.R. permits for <br />water and sewer construction and with the plans and specifications except for <br />the following: <br />1) Completion of the 1" asphalt wearing surface adjacent to and around the <br />concrete curb for the entrance island. <br />2) Removal and replacement of concrete Miami curbs in the areas from Lots 411 <br />to 414, 605 to 607, and 601 to 616 where the curb is lower than desion <br />grade. <br />3) Removal and replacement of a portion of the pavement along the south side <br />of Poinciana Circle in front of Lot 521. <br />These items listed above are to be done under the contractor's warranty period <br />after the majority of the mobilehomes are in place and the site work is com- <br />pleted. Then the pavement and curbs can be swept off to determine the extent of <br />curb and pavement replacement. A rough estimate of the work to be done under <br />warranty for the above items mentioned is $3,000. I suggest that a total of <br />$5,000 be withheld by Indian River County to cover the warranty work and that <br />the remainder of the $65,000.20 (or $60,000.20) in bond money be released to <br />Florida Atlantic Associates, owners of Village Green, Phase II. <br />I request that this matter be placed on the agenda for the next regularly <br />scheduled County Commission meeting on June 18 so the money can be released <br />at that time. <br />Very truly yours , <br />BEINDORF AND ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />ames L.
