6. 16th Street and 20th Avenue. <br />A simple two phase actuated light is required.at this intersection. The <br />equipment taken from the "forth Gifford Road and U.S. #1 location could <br />be used in it's entirety. There are two poles located at the N.E. and <br />S.W. corners that would be appropriate to use and would require only <br />anchoring with guy wires for support. An easement may be required at the <br />S.W. corner for the anchor. <br />7. We have $51,429.67 remaining in our budget for traffic signals. The installation <br />of the SR 60 and Kings Hwy. is estimated to be _ The <br />cost of relocatina 36th St. to Barber Avenue is _ _ _ The cost <br />for new sianal at North Gifford Road and U.S. #1 is The <br />cost to relocate North Gifford pedestrian signal to 16th Street and 20th Avenue <br />is _ <br />It is recommended that: <br />1. The traffic signals at 36th Street be moved on authorization from <br />D.O.T. to 37th Street, Barber Avenue. A flasher signal with appropriate <br />aerial signs indicating Ambulance Entrance be hung at 36th Street. <br />2. The Board approve installation of fully actuated signals at North <br />Gifford Road and U.S. #1. <br />3. The Board authorize the Administrator to take action to install a fully <br />actuated traffic signal at 16th Street and 20th Avenue. <br />MR. NELSON INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE <br />APPROVAL OF FULLY ACTUATED SIGNALS AT NORTH GIFFORD ROAD AND U.S.1 <br />AND ALSO AUTHORIZATION TO LOOK INTO THE POSSIBILITY OF A TRAFFIC LIGHT <br />AT 16TH STREET AND 20TH AVENUE. HE FELT THE LATTER CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED <br />IF WE CAN GET AN EASEMENT FROM THE PERSON AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER. <br />HE CONTINUED THAT THEY CAN UTILIZE THE SIGNAL TAKEN DOWN AT NORTH <br />GIFFORD ROAD. THE ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR REPORTED THAT THEY HAVE <br />$51,000 LEFT IN THE BUDGET, AND HE WOULD ESTIMATE A TOTAL COST OF <br />ABOUT $22,000 FOR SIGNALS AT KINGS HIGHWAY AND S.R. 60. THE ONLY <br />COSTS INVOLVED IN THE RELOCATION OF LIGHTS FROM 36TH STREET TO <br />BARBER AVENUE WOULD BE LABAR COSTS.
