He noted that Father Crowley’s request to have the item postponed to today did <br />not change staff’s recommendation. <br /> <br />The Chairman opened the Public Hearing. <br /> <br />Father John Crowley <br />, Pastor of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, was <br />concerned with the safety aspect of radio frequency radiation. He expressed the Church’s plans to <br />build a school near the site location of the proposed tower and was concerned with danger and <br />exposure to radiation especially for the children. He suggested Nextel locate the tower <br />approximately 2 miles north (agricultural area) in an unpopulated area. <br /> <br />Chairman Neuberger inquired if staff had done any research on radio frequency <br />radiation. <br />September 12, 2006 <br />13 <br /> <br />
