Commissioner Bowden questioned County Attorney Collins regarding details to be <br />submitted on the grant application, and he replied that a conceptual plan is to be submitted and <br />guessed substantial changes could be made if the monies are awarded. <br />Discussion ensued and the motion was clarified to include that there will be further <br />input concerning the plan for boat ramps. <br />Commissioner Wheeler had asked County Administrator Baird to have the matter <br />th <br />put on the October 4 agenda. <br />County Administrator Baird stated that staff understood, loud and clear, that they are <br />to work with the Entomology Lab and all interested parties, but he thought we should go forward <br />with the FRDAP application. <br />Chairman Lowther requested that he be kept informed as liaison to the Parks and <br />Recreation Committee. <br />Commissioner Bowden wanted assurance it would be brought back to the Board, <br />and Chairman Lowther confirmed that it would when it was out for bid. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance No. 2005-038 amending the text of the <br />Comprehensive Plan’s Capital Improvements Element; and <br />providing severability and effective date.
