<br /> September 14, 2005 <br />MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in <br />th <br />Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1840 25 Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Tuesday, September 14, 2005, at 5:01 p.m. to conduct the final public hearing on the FY <br />2005/2006 Budget. Present were Chairman Thomas S. Lowther, Vice Chairman Arthur R. <br />Neuberger, Commissioners Sandra L. Bowden and Gary C. Wheeler. Commissioner Wesley S. <br />Davis arrived at 5:10 p.m. Also present were Administrator Joseph A. Baird, County Attorney <br />William G. Collins II, Executive Aide to the Board Kimberly Massung, Management & Budget <br />Director Jason E. Brown, and Deputy Clerk Patricia Ridgely. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Lowther called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m. <br /> <br />2. INVOCATION <br />Planning Director Stan Boling delivered the Invocation. <br /> <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Vice Chairman Neuberger led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />4. BUDGET OVERVIEW <br />County Administrator Baird presented a brief overview of the budget for FY <br />2005-2006. The proposed budget totals $324,455,156; it is approximately $36 million less than <br />SEPTEMBER 14, 2005 1 <br /> <br />
