Mr. Cramer said that he wants to see 12 out of the 38 recommendations <br />modified, and he was still not clear as to whether his concerns should be presented at this time. <br />Chairman Bowden wanted to allow the individuals who were present to have the <br />opportunity to speak. <br />Joseph Paladin asked if there would be legal repercussions if mining is taken out <br />of AG -1 zoning. <br />Attorney Collins declared that there would be legal repercussions, and provided <br />the details of the governing Statute, the Burt Harris Act. He opined that legally, it would be a <br />bad idea to remove mining from Ag -1. <br />There were no further speakers and the Board briefly discussed when to hold the <br />Special Call Meeting, with discussion to resume after the break. <br />The Chairman called a recess at 3:36p.m. and reconvened the meeting at 3:49 <br />p.m., with all members present. <br />The Chairman asked the other Commissioners to bring their schedules with them <br />to the Impact Fee Workshop to be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at which time they <br />would try to select a date for the Special Call Meeting. <br />12.B.
