1 S.A.2.APPROVAL OF SUPPLEMENTAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PREPAREDNESS <br />GRANTAGREEMENT 09 -BG -20-10-40-01 <br />This item was moved to, and approved under the Consent Agenda, Item 8V. <br />15.A.3.CONSTRUCTION SERVICES CONTRACT (PART II AGREEMENT) WITH BARTH <br />CONSTRUCTION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FIRE <br />RESCUE STATION NO. 12 <br />Director of Emergency Services John King and County Administrator Joseph Baird <br />responded to Commissioner O'Bryan's questions regarding the contract, and whether the County <br />was getting a competitive price, given the current building climate. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by <br />Vice Chairman Davis, the Board unanimously authorized <br />the Chairman to execute the Agreement with Barth <br />Construction, Inc., with the condition that the Contract <br />would be awarded subject to acceptance and approval by <br />the Department of Community Affairs (DCA). <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />ALL BACKUP DOCUMENTATION IS ON FILE IN THEOFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD AND <br />IS HEREBY MADE A PART OF THESE MINUTES <br />September 16, 2008 <br />E.S.D. 2 <br />
