JUL 3 O'1980 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-74 <br />BOOK 44 PACE 172. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County is presently constituted as the Indian River <br />County Housing Agency and in the capacity of such housing <br />agency has previously made application to the State of Florida, <br />Department of Community Affairs, Rural Housing Land Acquisition <br />Site Development Fund for a loan from the Department of Community <br />Affairs as provided in Florida Statutes, Chapter 420, Part <br />3 (1979), to assist the Indian River County Housing Agency in <br />acquiring land, planning, designing and constructing building <br />sites for housing for persons of low or moderate income; and <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Board of County Commis- <br />sioners acting as the Indian River County Housing Agency by <br />this resolution intends to transfer its funding reservations <br />to authorize the Indian River County Housing Authority to make <br />application to the State of Florida, Department of Community <br />Affairs, Rural Housing Land Acquisition Site Development Fund <br />for a loan from the department as provided in Florida Statutes, <br />Chapter 420, Part 3 (1979), to assist the Indian River County <br />Housing Authority in acquiring land, planning, designing and <br />constructing building sites for housing for persons of low or <br />moderate income; and <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Housing Authority <br />is in accord with County Resolution 79-44 which determined that <br />a need for approximately 100 units of such housing exists as <br />evidence by an inventory of housing needs, and survey responses <br />conducted during 1977-1978; and <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Housing Authority <br />anticipates developing residential building sites in Indian <br />River County, Florida, requiring a loan from the Department <br />of Community Affairs in the amount of $400,000.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Housing Authority <br />and the Indian River County Agency has determined that funds <br />are or will be available for the construction, maintenance or <br />support of such housing as evidenced by Exhibit "2" which was <br />attached to County Resolution 79-44; and <br />_ M M <br />
