CONSIDERATION OF PURCHASE OF CONSERVATION EASEMENTS ON <br />THE PADGETT BRANCH ENVIRONMENTAL LANDS PROGRAM SITE <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />Chief of Environmental Planning Roland DeBlois explained that there were two <br />option agreements and proposed conservation easements for ownerships in the Padgett <br />Branch Land Acquisition Site: (1) Padgett Creek, LLC, ±857 acres, and (2) Triple S Land <br />Company, ±728 acres. He used a PowerPoint presentation to discuss the key points of the <br />issue, and displayed maps and photos of the southwest county site. Mr. DeBlois revealed <br />that the Padgett Branch Land Acquisition Program site is part of a bigger regional project at <br />the State level, called the Kissimmee Saint Johns River Connector Project, which may <br />September 18, 2007 26 <br />
