<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner Ginn’s concern about the high cost for this service, <br />County Administrator Baird emphasized that this is our $9 million communications system for <br />9-1-1 and includes all the equipment for that system. It was the only communication system that <br />worked after Hurricane Frances. He added that the company has been excellent and has worked <br />day and night to get our 9-1-1 call center back in service. <br /> <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the motion <br />carried unanimously.
