(27TH <br />AVENUE TO 20THAVENUE) AND 2OTHAVENUE (21ST STREETS W TO 171H <br />LANES W.), PROJECT #0803, 0837, AND 0838 Bm NUMBER 2008073, <br />CHANGE ORDER NO.2 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Solari, the Board unanimously approved <br />Change Order No. 2 with J. W. Cheatham, LLC, for <br />$16,709, plus 60 additional calendar days added to the <br />contract, which would bring the contract amount to <br />$1,608,586.25, as recommended in the memorandum of <br />September 9, 2009. <br />8.H. AMENDMENT NO.2 TO WORK ORDER No.], PROFESSIONAL CIVIL <br />ENGINEERINGSERVICESAGREEMENT WITHARCADIS G&MING. FOR <br />WIDENING 43RD AVENUE FROM OSLO ROAD TO 8TH STREET <br />Commissioner O'Bryan felt this Amendment to Work Order No. 1, for additional <br />engineering and surveying services for widening 43rd Avenue from Oslo Road to 8th Street was <br />premature. He wanted to Table this item until the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) <br />has reviewed the traffic plans, and the Board has received the annual update to the 5 -Year <br />Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). <br />County Engineer Christopher Kafer addressed Chairman Davis's concerns pertaining to <br />the project's permits and extensions. <br />13 <br />September 22, 2009 <br />
