WORK ORDER NO. 8, CR510 SIDEWALKIMPROVEMENTS WEST OFAIA, <br />DESIGNSURVEY- TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY, IRCPARCEL -SIDEWALK <br />DESIGN PROJECT <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Solari, the Board unanimously approved <br />and authorized the Chairman to execute Work Order No. 8 <br />in the amount of $3,680; authorized the Project as outlined <br />in the Scope of Services; as recommended in the <br />memorandum of September 10, 2009. <br />WORK ORDER ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />8.K MISCELLANEOUSBUDGETAMENDMENT 024 <br />Vice Chairman Flescher voiced concern over Item No. 7, Miscellaneous Budget <br />Amendment 024 (page 120 of the backup material), "Recording Equipment is needed in the <br />Building B Conference room to provide the ability to record various committee meetings. The <br />attached entry appropriates funding in the amount of $20, 000 from General Fund Cash <br />Forward. " He felt the camera device was a luxury item, not a requirement during these <br />economic times. <br />Administrator Baird explained the reasons for the endeavor and why he considered it to <br />be a "good use of money." <br />Chairman Davis wanted to know if this technology would give the public an opportunity <br />to view the meetings. Management and Budget Director Jason Brown affirmed that the <br />information could be downloaded and made available on the website. <br />15 <br />September 22, 2009 <br />
