Commissioner O'Bryan <br />summarized the history of the SUI mine and commented on their code enforcement violations. <br />He supported his original decision of awarding the bid to Ranger Construction. <br />Vice Chairman Flescher clarified to the public that Commissioner Wheeler was not <br />related to the speaker, Kaylene Wheeler. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner O'Bryan, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Solari, to deny the appeal <br />by Stormwater and Underground, LLC (SUI). <br />The Commissioners provided their comments and articulated their reasons for why they <br />would continue to uphold their original decisions from the September 8, 2009 Board of County <br />Commission Meeting (awarding the bid for the Sector 3 Beach and Restoration Project to Ranger <br />Construction Industries, Inc.). <br />The Vice Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and by a <br />4-0 vote (Chairman Davis recused himself), the Motion <br />carried.
