14.A. 6. FIRE RESCUE STATION 12, CHANGE ORDER I — PROJECT CLOSEOUT <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chair Bowden, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Davis, the Board unanimously authorized the <br />Chairman to execute Change Order No. 1 as presented, which <br />essentially closes out the Design Services Agreement without <br />further expense, as recommended in the memorandum of August <br />24, 2007. <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />14.A. 7. LAND ACQUISITION FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT FIRE STATION, <br />4TH STREET AND 43RD AVENUE <br />Director of Emergency Services John King informed the Board that the Division of <br />Forestry is going to abandon the site at 4th Street and 43`d Avenue. He felt that the property <br />would be an ideal location site for the future Fire -Rescue station. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Flescher, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Davis, the Board unanimously approved the land <br />acquisition, and authorized the Chairman of the Emergency <br />Services District to sign the purchase contract, as recommended <br />in the memorandum of August 24, 2007. <br />MEMORANDUM ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />September 4, 2007 <br />E.S.D. <br />6 <br />
