This AGREEMENT is by and between, Indian River County <br />hereinafter referred to as the COUNTY, and the State of Florida <br />Department of General Services, Division of Communications,'here- <br />in.after referred to a,, the STATE, regarding the COUNTY'S partici. <br />pation in the SUNCOM Intercity Network. <br />The STATE shall provide to the COUN'fY accessibility to the SUNC0t1 <br />Intercity Network and any future long distance system, as re- <br />questcd by the COUNTY and as provided by'the STATE. All lines not <br />restricted by the COUNTY shall have access to the STATE long <br />distance network. Charges shall be paid to the STATE by the COUNTY <br />for this7service and shall he based upon the COUNTY'S prorated <br />share of the system usage and shall cover adRiinistrativc costs as <br />well as network utilization and shall be consistent with the charges <br />and services provided to participating State agencies. <br />The STATE shall provide the COUNTY with an invoice each month for <br />services utilized.by the COUNTY that are consistent with the billing <br />system and cons opts used by the participating State agencies. <br />The COUNTY recognizes and agrees that the billing concepts and net- <br />work configuration may be subject to changes from time -to -time as a <br />result of changes in applicable laws, regulations, traffic patterns, <br />and other conditions which may result in modifications to existing <br />policy decisiens or directives.
