He referenced the upcoming transportation building, and <br />observed that the parks building at Hobart Road had been constructed by a Sarasota firm. <br />Administrator Baird pointed out that the new transportation facility would probably <br />follow federal rules because of partial federal funding. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and by a 3-2 <br />vote (Commissioners Flescher and Davis opposed) the <br />Board adopted Ordinance 2010-019, repealing Code <br />Section 105.041.1, Local Preference in Purchasing or <br />Contracting; providing for conflicts; providing for <br />severability; and providing for effective date. <br />10.
