8.F. APPROVAL OF 2009/2010 OF STATE HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT <br />FEDERALLY FUNDED SUBGRANT AGREEMENT 10 -DS -39-10-40-01 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously accepted <br />the State Homeland Security Grant in the amount of <br />$53,000, and authorized the Chairman to execute the <br />Grant Agreement, as recommended in the memorandum <br />of December 31, 2009. <br />AGREEMENT ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />8.G. CONSIDERATION OF GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE FLORIDA <br />DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />A SEGMENT OF THE TRANS -FLORIDA RAIL -TRAIL GREENWAY <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously: <br />(1) approved the Agreement for Recreational Trails <br />Program funding; (2) authorized the Chairman to execute <br />same; and (3) authorized staff to obtain an Easement or <br />other legal access to the middle school property from the <br />School District for purposes of constructing the trail, all as <br />recommended in the memorandum of December 29, 2009. <br />COPY OF AGREEMENT ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />6 <br />January 12, 2010 <br />
