1 <br />1 <br />r_� <br />accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for damages by reason thereof. <br />Said petition being signed by C T Fletcher and eight others.. <br />-It -was ordered that said petition be accepted and filed and that C.T.Fletcher, <br />S. Moods and D.L.1eisher be appointed a committee to view, mark and lay out the best <br />route for this mad and report to this Board. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were <br />examined and approved for payment and warrants ordered issued from the respective funds <br />in settlement of same. The bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk <br />of the Circuit Court, and the warrants so drawn being listed completely in -the County <br />Finance record as provided by law, reference to said County Finance Record and the <br />list so recorded is made a part of these minutes as fully and completely as if the <br />said warrants were listed herein in detail. <br />The County Depository filed its monthly statement of receipts and disbursements, <br />which having been checked by the County Auditor were found to be correct. <br />There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried the Board <br />adjourned until the next regular meeting to be held Tuesday, 'September 16th 1930. <br />Chairman Pro -Tem <br />The Board of County. Commissioners in and f or Indian River Countv, Florida, met at <br />the Court House in Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday September 16th, 1930, with the <br />following members of the Board present: Albert O.Helseth, Chairman; J.D.Yongue; J. W. <br />LaBruce; J.J.P.Hamilton and John H. Atkin. Also present were biles Marren, Clerk <br />and Clark S. Rice, Ma.eriff. <br />The following petition was received, read and filed. <br />ROAD PETITION <br />STATE OF FLORIDA, ) <br />COUNTY OF INDIAN RIVER) <br />TO THE HONORABI3 BOARD OF COUNTY CONKISSIONERS OF SkID COUNTY: <br />Gentlemen; <br />We, the undersigned, citizens of 1he County of Indian River, State of Florida, <br />respectfully represent that the necessities of the public require a County Road to be <br />laid out as follows, to -wits - <br />Commencing at S.W.Cor.of the MS of the ` 4 of _Sect.,23, <br />T.32 R.39 E.9 Indian River County, and State of Florida. <br />Run North- on quarter Section line to a point 870 ft. North <br />of the point of beginning, said road to be not less than <br />25 feet in width. Said road to be not less than fifty <br />feet in width. <br />We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened up <br />a County Road as above described, and sue, the owners of the land through which said <br />road is sought to be laid out, in consideration of the sum of One dollar to us each <br />and severally in hand paid by the said County of Indian River, the receipt of which is <br />h hereby acknowledged, hereby agree to give the right-of-way through our lands, as shown <br />,,by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for damage by <br />I reason thereof. Said petition signed by A.E.Arnold and 5 others. <br />It was ordered said petition be accepted and filed and A.E.Arnolcit Walter <br />Bobo and D.L.Leisher be appointed a committee to view, mark and lay out the best route <br />for this mad and report back to this Board. <br />
