MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Solari, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Davis, to approve and <br />authorize the Chairman to execute Work Order No. 25 with <br />Geosyntec, Inc., in the amount of $172,879 to provide <br />engineering services for preparation and submittal to FDEP <br />(Florida Depaitment of Environmental Protection) <br />applications for renewal of the five-year solid waste <br />operating permit, and for modification of the ERP <br />(Environmental Resources Permit) of the landfill site. <br />Himanshu H. Mehta, P.E., Managing Director of the Solid Waste Disposal District, <br />relayed that Geosyntec Consultants had assured staff that they would complete the necessary <br />engineering services for the permitting project within the County's deadline of March 19, 2010. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and the Motion <br />carried unanimously. The Board approved and authorized <br />the Chairman to execute Work Order No. 25 with <br />Geosyntec, Inc., in the amount of $172,879 to provide <br />engineering services for preparation and submittal to FDEP <br />(Florida Department of Environmental Protection) <br />applications for renewal of the five-year solid waste <br />operating permit, and for modification of the ERP <br />(Environmental Resources Permit) of the landfill site, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of December 21, 2009. <br />WORK ORDER IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />2 <br />January 5, 2010 <br />S.W.D.D. <br />
