Community Planning Director Stan Boling, using a PowerPoint Presentation (on file), <br />recapped his Memorandum dated March 1, 2010. He provided the background and history of the <br />County landscape regulations, approved changes, and problems/solutions that would be <br />addressed by the Ordinance Amendment. He acknowledged the unanimous recommendations of <br />the Professional Services Advisory Committee (PSAC) and the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission (PZC). <br />In response to Commissioner Davis's query, Director Boling explained the details of the <br />current and proposed Ordinances as they pertain to existing vegetation on a site. <br />The Chairman opened the Public Hearing. <br />Jens Tripson, 2525 14th Street, supported the proposed Amendments. <br />Danny Delisle, Vero Beach, Landscape Contractor, thanked staff for their efforts on the <br />proposed Amendments. <br />The Chairman closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Flescher, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Davis, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 2010-008, concerning an amendment to its <br />Land Development Regulations (LDR); providing for <br />amendments to Chapter 911, Zoning; Chapter 926, <br />Landscape and Buffer Regulations; and Chapter 927, Tree <br />Protection and Landing Clearing; by revising foundation <br />planting Regulations for the Wabasso Corridor Section <br />911.18(3)(j); by revising Foundation Planting Regulations <br />for the SR 60 Corridor Section 911.19(6)(f); by revising <br />20 <br />March 23, 2010 <br />
