• Change Order No. 2 (lump sum) - $304,747.77 <br />• Additional 47,649 cubic yards at $15.66 - $746,183 <br />• Total at 317,289 cubic yards (Phase I) - $10,319,233 <br />Chairman O'Bryan clarified that 317,289 cubic yards of sand was for Phase I, and an <br />estimated quantity of 267,000 cubic yards of sand was projected for Phase II. <br />Director Mora said an agreement had been made with Ranger, that should the County <br />need the additional 33% for Phase II, they will hold the $15.66 cubic yard rate. <br />Mr. Schafer confirmed that the unit cost of $15.66 per cubic yard would remain for the <br />duration of the project. <br />Administrator Baird pointed out that the reduction of $117,138.94 for the truck hauling <br />credit was approved in the earlier Motion for Change Order No. 1. <br />Chairman O'Bryan once again clarified the cubic yards and contract price for both phases <br />of the project. <br />Attorney Polackwich encouraged staff to put everything in writing, approve the change <br />orders subject to the various conditions expressed, and allow the Public Works Department and <br />himself to ensure everything is in agreement. <br />31 <br />March 23, 2010 <br />
