Michael Walther, P.E., Coastal Technology Corporation, suggested Change Order No. 2 <br />reflect the additional 33% at the top of the page, and pointed out that the additional 47,649 cubic <br />yards of sand, both at $15.66, would yield a total contract price at $10,319.233.00. <br />MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Flescher, <br />SECONDED by Chairman O'Bryan, to approve: <br />(1) revised Change Order No. 2 to reflect 66,903 cubic <br />yards of sand as part of the 33% additional contract <br />requirement, at a unit cost of $15.66 per cubic yard; <br />(2) the purchase 47,649 cubic yards of sand as part of the <br />33% additional contract requirement, at a unit cost of <br />$15.66 per cubic yard; (3) to pay a lump sum of <br />$304,747.77 for Change Order No. 2; and (4) that all sand <br />in Phase II will cost no more than $15.66 per cubic yard. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />motion carried unanimously.
