CEJ <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Flescher, SECONDED <br />by Vice Chairman Davis, the Board unanimously <br />approved the renewal of the Class "B" Certificate of <br />Public Convenience and Necessity for Coastal Health <br />Services of Brevard, Inc., to be effective for a period of <br />two (2) years from May 4, 2014, to May 4, 2016, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of March 18, 2414. <br />8X CHILDREN's SERVICES FUNDING ALLOCATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2014- <br />2015 <br />Althea McKenzie, 2405 16`t' Avenue, requested this item to be pulled so she could seek <br />clarification and discuss funding for Children's Services. She said the funding has remained the <br />same over the past few years, and based on the needs that have been expressed, wanted the <br />Board to consider making the funding allocation equal to that of 2403. <br />Chairman O'Bryan clarified staffs recommendation, reviewed the funding allocation <br />process and analysis, and addressed Ms. McKenzie's concerns. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Solari, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously approved <br />funding for Children's Service Agencies at the current <br />fiscal year allocation of $623,8901, for fiscal year 2414 - <br />2015, as recommended in the memorandum of March 24, <br />2014. <br />April 1, 2014 10 <br />
