Flescher <br />District 2 <br />Re: Enforcement of the Smoking Policy at the Indian River County Mali <br />Dear Ms. Rodenhizer and Mr. Schweers: <br />Tim ,Zorc <br />District 3 <br />Bob Solari <br />District 5 <br />On April 1, 2014, members of Girl Scout Troop 50003 and Girl Scout Troop 50043 <br />spoke to the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners concerning the <br />enforcement of the smoking policies posted at the Indian River Mall. Although the <br />Board understands that it does not have jurisdiction to regulate smoking, the Board <br />supports the concerns expressed by the Girl Scouts regarding smoking. Therefore, the <br />Board requests that the Indian River Mall enforce the rules concerning smoking that are <br />posted at the Indian River Mall. We also respectfully request that the representatives of <br />the Indian River Mall meet with the members of these Girl Scout troops to discuss the <br />smoking policies. <br />Sincerely, <br />f <br />Peter D.
