PROCLAMATION 75' <br />HONORING JOSEPH R. BLACK& URN ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SER VICESIFIRE RESCUE <br />WHEREAS, Joseph R. Blackburn retired from Indian River County effective March <br />30, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, Joseph R. Blackburn began his firefighting career on July 24, 1982 as a <br />Firefighter with South Indian River County Fire District. He became a <br />Firefighter/EMT on May 29, 1983, and was promoted to Driver/Engineer on April 5, <br />1991. On May 10, 2013, he became a Fire Lieutenant with Indian River County Fire <br />Rescue and continued in this capacity until his retirement, • and <br />WHEREAS, Joseph R. Blackburn has served this County and the Public with <br />distinction and se 7essness. During his thirty-one years of service, he was dedicated <br />and his work was greatly appreciated by the employer, citizens, and co-workers alike; <br />and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDL4N RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board <br />applauds Joseph R.
