OYSTER COLONIZATION PILOT PROGRAM AT SPOONBILL MARSH <br />WETLAND FACILITY <br />Director of Utility Services Erik Olson reviewed the memorandum of April 26, 2010 to <br />provide details on the Oyster Colonization Pilot Program. He divulged that the oysters would <br />play an important role in cleaning the lagoon water, and that if successful, the program could <br />become part of a sustainable long-term aquaculture program. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Flescher, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Davis, the Board unanimously approved <br />and authorized the Sembler and Sembler, Inc. Oyster <br />Colonization Pilot Program proposal in the amount of <br />$13,964.00 as recommended in the memorandum of April <br />26, 2010. <br />12..14. SPOONBILL MARSH WETLAND FACILITY— CHANGE ORDER NO. 5 TO <br />TIMOTHY ROSE CONTRACTING, INC. FOR SEDIMENTATION BASIN DEBRIS <br />SCREEN <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Solari, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Davis, the Board unanimously approved <br />and authorized the Chairman to execute Change Order No. <br />5 to Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc. for a sedimentation <br />basin debris screen at the Spoonbill Marsh Wetland <br />Facility, in the amount of $51,681.12, as recommended in <br />the memorandum of May 5, 2010. <br />CHANGE ORDER IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />29 <br />May 11, 2010 <br />
